3 Diplomas in the study

LGSB offers 3 Diplomas in the study of information technology. Each course
carries unique knowledge covering different areas in the field of IT.

Each qualification is designed for study during one academic year
for full-time study. Qualifications are provided face to face through
lectures, study guides and seminars.

Information
Technology Course Program

The first-year program will give you an understanding of the following subjects:
Basics of programming; System analysis and design; Web and multimedia applications;
Computer and network technologies; Software development; Business information management.

2nd course program

Basics of programming;

Admission requirements

To qualify for an IT qualification, students must have:

Relevant NQF / QCF / RQF diploma level 3, 4, 5 or equivalent;

The student must be 18 years old or older;

English language requirements: proof of English proficiency is required.

Equivalence

First year diploma
The first-year diploma represents practical knowledge, skills and abilities, which are assessed as the equivalent of Higher National Certificates (HNC) and the 1st year of a three-year UK undergraduate program.
Second year diploma
The second-year diploma represents practical knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies that are assessed as equivalent to the basic degrees, the highest national diploma (HND) and the second year of the three-year British bachelor's degree.
Third year diploma
The third year diploma represents practical knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies that are evaluated as equivalent bachelor's degrees with honors, a bachelor's degree, a certificate of a professional graduate in education (PGCE), diplomas of graduates and certificates of graduates.
